Each client is allocated a Senior
Member of Garwyn staff as Account Manager with responsibility to:
Set up the handling
procedures
Monitor the account
Attend review meetings
(as requested)
Act as a trouble shooter
to deal quickly and efficiently with
potential problems
For each account a Risk Handling Instruction (RHI) is issued to
all adjusters outlining matters such as:
Contact points
Reporting requirements
Reporting intervals
Authority levels
Client data requirements
Our aim is to have the RHI agreed by all parties i.e. Insurer,
Policyholder, Broker and Garwyn as soon as possible – preferably
before we are notified of any claims.
Once agreed and signed off, the RHI will be issued to all adjusters
and also made available on the adjusters desktop by use of our
“e-Cabinet” system.
Use of the RHI document enables Garwyn and its clients to agree a
detailed procedure for the investigation and handling of claims and
ensures a consistent approach from each Garwyn office and adjuster.
